Richard’s journey into the roofing business began after several years working in the industrial construction industry. A graduate of Brazoswood High School with an A.A. in Environmental, Health, and Safety, Richard initially pursued a career in a different sector. However, fate had other plans for him.

Richard’s transition into the roofing industry occurred when he accepted a position as a sales representative for one of the largest roofing companies in Texas. It was here that Richard discovered his true passion for roofing. Inspired by the craftsmanship, innovation, and opportunity for customer interaction within the industry, Richard quickly realized that roofing was more than just a job – it was a calling.

Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to uphold the core values of integrity, excellence, and customer service, Richard decided to embark on a new chapter in his career. In 2007, he founded Watts Roofing with a vision to provide superior roofing solutions that prioritize quality, honesty, and customer satisfaction above all else.
